Musical Theater Main Stage
What is the Harmonia School Main Stage Program?
Harmonia presents three mainstage musicals every year, with each full-scale production running an entire weekend. Students experience the complete process of bringing a musical to life from the script to the stage. The cast sizes are limited and the work schedule for these productions is intense, but highly enjoyable.
Entry to this production requires a cast placement audition (on the designated dates) and commitment to pre-scheduled rehearsals and performances.
Students ages 10-18 with prerequisite theatrical experience are eligible to join our main stage productions.
Cast placement auditions are held…
- Fall Production: August & September
- Spring Production: January & February
- Summer Theater Mainstage: June & July
Production fee includes over 45 hours of rehearsal & training, costumes & make-up, sets, 4 full scale shows, license for the show, script and music. JTF participants received a 20% discount on the Spring Mainstage Production fee.
Summer Theater Mainstage
This two week-long intensive summer stage culminates in full scale shows on our stage. Students learn all elements of performance in a musical setting as they spend a full two weeks in production, with required at-home learning before the rehearsals begin. With over 60 hours of training, this fun-filled challenge is a must for all theater lovers. Audition required for cast placement held in June/July.

NEW! Winter 2018 Play
In the Fall of 2018, Harmonia School is excited to begin a new partnership with the community theater company “Have Globe, Will Travel.” Students who have completed the Advanced Acting Class are preselected to join the cast of this company’s fall theatrical production. Students will audition with prepared monologues and cold readings from the script. They will then rehearse independently and in conjunction with HGWT company members and have the opportunity to develop their classical acting skills in an environment of mutual respect and professionalism. This course will conclude with multiple weekend performances of a full-scale production. Auditions are open to all, and no role is pre-cast.
Students ages 10-18 with prerequisite theatrical experience are eligible to join. Production fee includes over 25 hours of rehearsal & training, costumes & make-up, sets, 4 full scale shows, license for the show, and script. 20% discount for the students who have completed the Intermediate and/or Advanced Acting class.
