BM, MM  Sam Hall weaves together diverse and eclectic styles of performance and instruction to create both captivating music and a welcoming teaching atmosphere. By combining his knowledge and experience of Appalachian Fiddle with traditional Western, Classical Violin pedagogy, Sam matches his teaching style to the needs of his individual students.

Sam thrives by maintaining varied musical endeavors. In the past year he won the title of 2016 Iowa State Fair Grand Champion Fiddler, taught as an Associate Teacher at the 2016 Philadelphia International Music Festival, performed in the Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra, taught private violin and fiddle lessons, and graduated with his Master of Music from James Madison University.

Originally from Iowa, Sam is excited to be newly located in the NOVA area with his wife and their two dogs: Gypsy and Lucy. Sam holds his Bachelor of Music from Iowa State University and his Master of Music from James Madison University.
