BM, MM Maribeth Frank began her violin studies at the age of three at the New School of Music in Philadelphia. She continued on to study at many pre-eminent schools including the Meadowmount School of Music, North Carolina School for the Arts and the University of Houston under the tutelage of many well-known teachers including Ivan Galamian, Jascha Brodsky, Linda Cerone, and Elaine Richey. While living in Houston, Texas she played with the major Orchestras in the area, including the Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, and Houston Grand Opera Orchestras, as well as enjoying a fulfilling career of private teaching. Since moving to the Northern Virginia area in Oct. 2002, she has played as Concertmaster with the Annapolis Symphony as well as a member of the Washington Ballet, Richmond Symphony, and Alexandria Symphony Orchestras as well as teaching extensively at her private studios.
